Firestone Complete Auto Care

I've frequented this location and regard it highly. For over 10 years among the choices of locations Central Ave Albany has given me the best experience. Their coffee is always hot and the team diagnosis and handles repairs quickly. The team at this Firestone has virtuously applied applicable coupons without asking to my total. Today and yesterday I've coordinated with representative ,Erin W who was kind, thorough and advocated for repairs to my mother's car. Erin and her team found and fixed a repairable nail puncture on a tire for free thanking me for giving her team the time to do things correctly. That flat tire is the same tire my mother had to add air to the day before and helps me conclude that this Firestone specifically is above average in honesty, reputable workmanship & courtesy. We had the heat shield fixed, lower control arms replaced, coolant, oil, rear wiper, cabin air & air filter all replaced in anticipation of 2 weeks of travel coming and this car has over 260 thousand miles on it. When I say the results were apparent I'm making an understatement. This vehicle felt trustworthy. I feel like I can rely on the work Erin and her team at Firestone did to keep my mother

Recently got 4 new tires from this establishment 40 days later unfortunately had to return due to defective Tire. Frustrating experience with the manager rocky. It is standard industry practice to cross switch front tires to diagnose a steering pull when the pull changes direction with the tire swap it confirms a defective tire. The manager refused to accept this and blamed the alignment, using the post swap alignment data against me. If management doesn't understand fundamental tire troubleshooting i can't trust him with my vehicle

Terrible. AC was working intermittently so I went for a check. They supposedly looked for leaks and pressure, and concluded my freon was low so they did a recharge for $265. It did not help. Took it back and they would not credit the money from the recharge towards whatever actually needed to be done (this was now the 3rd trip). They wanted me to drop another 250 dollars for a repair that I don't even believe would have fixed it -- after I specifically told them my cap was 300 for the car the first time I brought it back. Finally after much negotiation I at least got a refund. After that, the AC was not blowing cold at all. So I took it to my regular mechanic and found out they sucked the new freon out when they refunded me! So all the freon is gone - even what I had in there before. Unbelievable. Avoid this place.

Rocky and Erin are great representatives with great customer service, the mechanics have kept their word on repair time. Thorough with the inspection with a detailed report. I would definitely recommend Firestone on Central Ave in Albany for your car care needs.

Erin attended to me and she was very pleasant and patient. She’s super respectful and willing to help and answer all questions. Rocky was the guy that worked in my car, he was very transparent, efficient and professional.
